Support the Civic Symphony of Green Bay

Whether you are a musician, advertiser, business owner, volunteer, or sponsor, we have a part for you to play when supporting the Civic Symphony of Green Bay in our mission of making music you like by people you know. Financial contributions in the form of advertisements, donations, and sponsorships make the arts possible. Without the leadership of small businesses, individuals, and large companies, there would be no score, no musicians, and no music.

The Civic Symphony of Green Bay, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, Federal Identification Number 39-1832060.

Donations:

PayPal Giving FundDonate online: PayPal Giving Fund is our preferred method for online donations since there are no fees for the orchestra. Please check the option to share your name & email with us, so that we can recognize you in our program book donor acknowledgement. Otherwise your PayPal Giving Fund donation will reach us as an anonymous gift.

Alternatively, you can set up monthly recurring donations. The orchestra pays processing fees on these transactions, but we offer it as an option for your convenience to do smaller recurring donations vs. a one-time contribution.

Mail checks to:

Donate in person: Look for the fundraising table in the lobby at our concerts or other events – you can donate via cash, check, or credit card. We also frequently have fundraising activities at concerts, including raffles and concession sales. We also occasionally have fundraising events in the community – check our events page for the latest opportunities to support the orchestra.

Employer match: Maximize your support through matching gifts, which are offered by many employers for staff contributions or volunteer hours. The impact of your donation to the orchestra may be doubled or even tripled! Check with your employer to see if they’ll match your gift.

Legacy giving: By including the Civic Symphony of Green Bay in your estate plans, you can minimize the tax burden on your loved ones while sustaining the orchestra for years to come. Check with your financial advisor for options to name the orchestra as a beneficiary.

Other options: Want to hear a specific musical selection? Let us know if you’d like to sponsor that piece on a future concert. Music purchases and rentals are one of the orchestra’s largest variable expenses. Or, consider donating to cover the cost of a box of Seroogy’s bars for lobby concession sales so that more of the money raised benefits the musicians of the orchestra. Ask a fundraising committee member at our next concert or email info@gbcivic.org for information.

Join us:

Musicians: The Civic Symphony of Green Bay encourages local musicians to perform with us. Whether you want to make this a regular gig and become a full-fledged member, or just want to test the waters, we’re always happy to see a new face. We’re often recruiting string players and percussionists, so these instrumentalists are especially encouraged to contact us. Openings and auditions

Board members: Share your talents! We’d love to expand our board membership to include experts in the areas of marketing, finance, fundraising, and educational outreach. You don’t necessarily need to be a musician. We also occasionally need ushers & other volunteers to help at our concerts, no experience required! Volunteer opportunities
